About me

About me

My name is Andy and I work in West Oxfordshire as a part-time gardener, helping with general maintenance and upkeep, be that weeding, pruning, tidying, planting or any number of tasks.  I started gardening with a friend in 2017 and found out that I rather enjoyed it,  I have grown to love gardening, taking great pleasure in my work in a wide range of gardens dealing with myriad tasks, from clearing the outside space in a popular coffee shop to building a second-hand greenhouse and continuing with the never-ending task of tending to countless large bushes in a very large and beautifully established rural garden.

As part of my development as a gardener, I obtained the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture from Abingdon and Witney College, a great course which gave a me a solid grounding of practical experience, technical knowledge and even some gardening philosophy from two very experienced and helpful teachers.

On more prosaic matters, I have a well-used car and full public liability insurance.
